Facility Expansion, Automation Investments Drive Revenue
Reading, PA: Metalworking manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, Reading, Pa. (www.tabindustries.com), has broken its record for sales, reporting a 16 percent increase in revenues in 2023 versus 2022. Marking the 18th consecutive year of annual revenue growth since its founding in 2005, the record year is attributed to continuing investments in automated machinery, equipment, and computer technology that streamlined workflow, a facility expansion that unleashed throughput and shortened lead times, and price stability in purchasing components and materials, according to Tom Brizek, president.
The company recorded repeat blanket orders for its turnkey manufacturing services from several key accounts that provided a consistent revenue base and allowed sourcing materials in large quantities. As an OEM vendor partner, TAB provides product design, metal fabricating, laser cutting, welding, machining, assembly, packaging, logistics, and other services to help manufacturers control costs and meet deadlines.
Projections for 2024 are cautiously optimistic, according to Brizek. “We’ve locked in pricing for the year for many of our repeat customers so our customers get price stability and we get revenue stability,” says Brizek. “With this level of existing production and the high level of interest from prospects preparing new projects, we’re eager to get to work in the new year.”
